Teacher's Pet

At a party recently - I was talking to an awesome woman who is not only a Pre-School Teacher & Mother of 3 (two in their 20's and a 16 yr. old) but is also a volunteer at GOSH.  She has truly dedicated her life to children and by the way... has an adorable 'child-like' quality herself.  

When we were leaving our little tete-a-tete she was gathering her mound of book bags and I noticed her copy of this book, "The King of Capri ".  It had such a fun cover - that I had to ask her about it.  She said in all of her years of reading to children - this was one of her FAVORITE BOOKS. (Made her A-List!).    The author is Jeanette Winterson.... you may already be a fan.
