Voila. Start with an easy, crepe shift-dress. Top it with the new-look, cover-up - a soft yet structured sweater/jacket in a colorful, camo print.
Don't be afraid to add another touch of pattern into the mix with this fab black tote with herringbone trim.
Sprinkle in some gold-tone accessories and set the whole look with one of the season's major trends - the bold watch with a nod to the blue in the sweater.

This Monday's #Discover List is kinda 'Canada'-heavy. But why not?! There's other cool stuff too...
SHOP Do you know Aritzia - the fashion label with stores across Canada and now in the U.S.? We love their well-curated list of brands and chic-city-cool looks. (Hit up their 'Sunday Best' for all your not-so-basics at awesome prices) Discover them here and check out this super versatile, drapey blouse-jacket hybrid. So cute in 'Prima'.
TREND Here in Canada they have to take Fall a bit more seriously... and sooner. That might be why we are seeing different takes on this trend all over the streets of Montreal. You need to get on this bandwagon and these leggings or this jacket will work A.M. P.M or Weekend.
FIT Since it's Monday we're in 'Fitness-Mode' - so we're doing this 'Calorie Torching Set of All-Over Sculpting Moves'...hoping to edge out Sunday's pizza.
EAT There seems to be no limit to how much of this Spicy Vegetarian Tortilla Soup we can eat.
JEWELS This article on famed jeweler, "Tiffany and Company's" new (and first female) design director and these images of the first line that she has created called "Tiffany T" are making us have major 'little blue-box' envy. #ArmParty #ChristmasWishList
SALE Loving 'Bauble Bar's' Embellished Knit Rope Collar - Statement Necklaces that are ON SALE throughout 11:59pm today only for $15 - plus free-shipping within the U.S. #GotGift?
QUOTE "People want to be everything for everybody. Brands start with jeans and then they're doing hotels, soup and water. This is watering everything down. I think we are going into a mono-needs period were people will do fewer things really well - we're seeing it with food already. There are shops just for oil or pepper and salt. You can apply this in your own life. Upgrade by being more centered and focused." (Trend Forecaster, Lidewij Edelkoort in Elle Canada)

Inspired by Moda Operandi's, limited edition 'Bamford' Rolex - we're wanting to add a bright-bold-colorful timepiece to our #ArmParty.
The 'Bamford' watch - according to M.O. - was created by George Bamford after his dismay at seeing six (yes 6!) people at the same party - wearing the same 'Rolex Daytona' that he had on... #RichPeopleProblems.
If you don't have the extra $20,000-$40,000 to land one of these beauties - take a look at 24 options that we're craving, below. George definitely had the right idea... A statement watch is a great seasonless investment to really update your wardrobe - especially when you think of how often you'll wear it.

15 female military servicewomen will trade their boots for stilettos to open New York Fashion Week on Sept. 3 in a designer-filled runway show.
_______________________________________________________
(image: 'Courtesy Photo' via WWD)
The much anticipated event, entitled, "Salute the Runway" is being sponsored by "Little Black Dress Wines" and "Fatigues to Fabulous" and is hoping to raise awareness of the challenges facing servicewomen as they make the "About Face" transition from military back to civilian life.
The women - who hail from the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guards and Marines - are a representation of the approximately 214,000 women on active duty and approximately 1.8 million female veterans.
"This campaign is a wonderful opportunity to support female veterans throughout the country," said Leslie Nicole Smith, the campaign's spokeswoman. "By joining together with Little Black Dress Wines, we are able to raise awareness of the issues surrounding women veteran reintegration, acknowledge their heroic service, and highlight the versatility of the little black dress and how this wardrobe staple can help women veterans' transition from military service." (WWD)
Although retired, Smith's bravery doesn't end there. The former Army captain and legally blind amputee due to complications while serving in Bosnia, will be side by side with her compatriots as she too walks the runway.
Now THAT'S A-List.
Some of fashion's legendary design houses including DKNY, Carmen Marc Valvo, Mara Hoffman and Calvin Klein have signed on to lend their versions of the iconic "Little Black Dress" in support of the event.
The Servicewomen-catwalkers will be coached on their runway walk and presence by none other than IMG models themselves.
This is just the first of The A-List's coverage of this event... Stay tuned for more features and our full coverage of the show in September during New York Fashion Week.
