Bringing over 10 years of experience working in the beauty & fashion industries & contributing to her own blog: Travel with Pallavi, Photographer, Pallavi Wagle covered this year's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Spring 2013 Collections in New York,
for The A-List.
After absorbing 8 days of all that some of the world's best designers, editors, make-up artists, hair-stylists, models & fashionistas had to offer... We had to ask...
Pallavi Wagle - Senior Editor at Large & Photographer Extraordinaire!
"What's on YOUR A-LIST?"
- Well shaped brows can really bring out your eyes. Every time I get them threaded, I swear my eyes look brighter. I am a fanatic about keeping up my brows and use my special-edition, Henri Bendel Tweezerman Tweezers to do the job.
- I've been using this bronzer for years. It's great for giving your face a healthy glow.
- This is the best eyeshadow pallette EVER!! I discovered this beautiful range of colors last summer while at a wedding with 4 girl friends who work in product innovation for cosmetic companies. Gorgeous girls of varying ethnicities and skin complexions. All of them pulled out the Naked Pallette. This pallette is universal! The shades work on women of all complexions, and offers a great range of shades for natural to dramatic looks.
Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick #79 Impertinente
- Great shade with solid lasting power.
- Drawing calms me. I like to draw/paint portraits and sketch random things that inspire me.
- I love taking pictures. Can you tell? This camera is great because it's not too heavy for a digital SLR, and takes some pretty beautiful snaps.
- My preferred book for note taking. I like the smaller ones with the pocket in the back for quick sketches and notes during Fashion Week.
- A pair of black shiny leggings from Top Shop. Sexy!
Last Item I Bought From My Travels...
- Travel inspires me. I love bringing back little treasures to remind me of the trip, and trying local beauty products. My last international trip was through India. I brought back some beautiful contemporary and traditional home textiles from New Delhi. While traveling through ayurvedic country in Kerala, I picked up some wonderful ayurvedic almond facial packs (you mix them with rose water), cooling cucumber gel for the face, and neelibringadhi oil for hair treatments -- all from the tea and spice plantations in Munnar.
